Client-Side (or Browser-Side)

Glossary of Web Design Terms

Client side scripting for dynamic web content and interactive experiences.

Client-Side (or Browser-Side)

Client-side scripting is the practice of writing scripts that are executed by or in the web browser on your site visitor's own computer.

Why Does This Matter to Me?

Though client-side scripting can provide a dynamic experience for your site visitors, it also has a higher probability of failure or causing problems. For this reason, we minimize our use of client-side scripting on sites we design for you, and only use client-side scripting where it is both necessary and well-tested.

However, we make appropriate use of sever-side scripting to insure a rich, interactive experience for your web site visitors.
